What is the minimum deposit on Pocket Option

Pocket Option’s minimum deposit usually starts at $5, but the exact amount can depend on your country and payment method. Some methods, like e-wallets or crypto, may allow lower deposits, while bank cards or bank transfers may require more. The minimum trade amount on Pocket Option is usually $1 per trade, so technically you can start with a very small account.

With that being said, I do not think depositing only $5 to trade live makes much sense. If you only have $5 in the account and the minimum trade is $1, every trade would risk a large percentage of your balance. That is not good risk management. If you only want to see how the platform works, demo is a much better option than trying to trade live with an amount that gives you almost no room for losses.

If you are looking for a better starting point, my personal rule is to think in terms of trade size. For every $1,000 in the account, I would be comfortable around $5 trades. So if the account is $5,000, that would make $25 trades more reasonable. If your account is under $1,000, I would stick to $1 trades until you build more room. The goal is not just to deposit money. The goal is to give yourself enough space to trade, lose, learn, and still stay in the game.
