Is Pocket Option OTC manipulated

I cannot prove that Pocket Option OTC trading is manipulated, but I understand why traders ask that question. OTC trading on Pocket Option allows traders to trade outside normal market hours, including weekends and holidays, with OTC assets across forex pairs, commodities, stocks, cryptocurrencies, and indices. Pocket Option also explains that OTC markets are different from regular markets, and that regular markets generally have higher liquidity and more pricing transparency than OTC markets. That difference alone can make OTC charts feel unusual if you are comparing them to TradingView, MetaTrader, or another broker.

Another important thing to understand is that Pocket Option uses its own paid quotation sources. In its public offer, Pocket Option says quotes from other companies or outside paid sources cannot be used when considering disputes. It also says the price shown in the company’s trading terminal is the price used for trading operations. Client requests are usually processed within 0 to 4 seconds under normal market conditions, but that processing time can increase under abnormal market conditions. Pocket Option also states that it may cancel or revise trading results in cases involving non market quotes, unauthorized software, server issues, software failures, or trading activity that shows signs of abuse.

Because of those rules, I think traders need to be careful when judging OTC movement. I have been on this broker for years, and I have seen some of the craziest price movements. But I have also seen crazy moves on many other brokers. I have been pushed into winning trades that I was almost sure I was going to lose, and I have been spiked out of trades that I was confident would win. From what I have seen, many traders call markets manipulated depending on the results they personally experience.

I also do not put blind trust in any broker. The CFTC and SEC have warned that some internet based binary options platforms have been accused of manipulating trading software to distort prices and payouts. That is a broad industry warning, not proof that Pocket Option OTC is manipulated, but it does explain why traders should be cautious with any binary style or offshore trading platform.

My personal view is simple: I would not claim Pocket Option OTC is manipulated without real proof, but I also would not tell any trader to trust OTC blindly. The broker has stood the test of time in a way that gives it some credibility in my reasoning process, but that does not remove the risk. Treat OTC like its own market, test it on demo, take screenshots, learn how each asset moves, avoid overtrading, and only use money you can afford to lose. More access does not always mean better trading opportunities. It means you need even more discipline.
