4. Profile
The “Profile” menu contains personal information as well as user account settings on the platform. Here you can fill in your personal data, upload documents for verification, and configure account security, social trading, notifications, and other general platform parameters. The trading profile contains all information on the user′s trading operations located in the corresponding categories (live trading, demo trading, social trading, MT5 trading).

4.1. Verification
Verification of user data is a mandatory procedure in accordance with requirements of the KYC (Know Your Customer) policy, as well as international AML (Anti Money Laundering) rules.
By providing brokerage services to our traders, we are obliged to identify users and monitor financial activity. The basic identification criteria in the system are verification of the identity, the residential address of the client, and email confirmation.
How to Verify Your Account
4.1.1. Email verification
Once you’ve signed up, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a link that you have to click to verify your email address. If you haven’t received the email right away, check your spam folder. If the letter is not there, open your Profile, and in the “Identity info” block click on the “Resend” button for a new confirmation email.

If you do not receive a confirmation email from us at all, send a message to support@pocketoption.com from your email address used on the platform and we will confirm your email manually.
4.1.2. Identity verification
The verification process starts once you fill in the Identity and Address information in your Profile and upload the required documents.
Open the Profile page and locate the Identity status and Address status sections.
Attention: Please note that you have to enter all of the required personal and address information in the Identity status and Address status sections prior to uploading documents.
For identity verification, we accept scans/photos of passports, local ID cards (both sides), and driver’s licenses (both sides). Click or drop the images in the corresponding sections of your profile.

You will receive an email confirmation after you upload the images. After your images are checked, you will receive an email and a website notification. You can also track your document status in the Profile section.
4.1.3. Address verification
The verification process starts once you fill in the Identity and Address information in your Profile and upload the required documents.
Open the Profile page and locate the Identity status and Address status sections.
Attention: Please note that you have to enter all of the required personal and address information in the Identity status and Address status sections prior to uploading documents.
For address verification, we accept paper-issued proof of address documents with the account holder’s name and address, that were issued not more than 3 months ago (utility bills, bank statements, address certificates). Click or drop the images in the corresponding sections of your profile.

How to Verify Your Address
4.1.4. Bank card verification
Card verification becomes available upon requesting a withdrawal via this method.
After the withdrawal request is created open your Profile and locate the Credit/Debit Card Verification section.

To verify your bank card, please upload clear photos of both the front and back sides of your card in the “Credit/Debit Card Verification” section of your Profile. For a smooth verification process, ensure that: – The first 6 digits and the last 4 digits of your bank card, your name and the expiration date are clearly visible. – The 6 middle digits of your bank card and your CVV/CVC code are hidden.

A verification request will be created after the process is initiated. You can use that request to track the verification progress or to contact our support team for help.
4.2. Trading profile
The trading profile is the main section containing information on your trading activity. Here you can find statistics, trading history, trade order IDs, date/time as well as open and closing prices. There is also general information on your trading performance.

4.2.1. Finding the profile ID
Your ID can be found by clicking on the avatar in the upper right corner of the trading interface, or in the “Trading profile” section under the avatar.

4.2.2. Trading statistics
You can find your trading statistics in the “Trading profile” section. Click “Profile” on the left panel of the trading interface and choose the “Trading profile” section.

You will be able to find the visualization of your trading performance and favorite trading assets distribution within a certain period (today, yesterday, all-time).
4.3. Profile settings
In Profile settings, you can manage email and sound notifications, as well as change the platform language.

On the Profile page scroll down to the “Social trading” section and use the “Click or drop image here” to set the desired image as an avatar.

On the Profile page scroll down to the Social trading section and click on the “Nickname” button to set the desired nickname for the Chat and social trading ratings.

On the Profile page scroll down to the Social trading section and click on the “Hide my profile” button to disable the possibility of copying your trades by other users.

On the Profile page scroll down to the Settings section and select whether to receive the email and sound notifications.

If you wish to stop using your Pocket Option trading account, you can close it from your Profile. Find the “Delete account” button at the bottom of the page and proceed with the instructions on the page. Be aware that the Client, regardless of their legal status, is prohibited to have more than one trading account with the Company.

4.4. Security
Security on the platform is as important as the variety of trading features. We give special attention to services aimed at protecting the clients’ accounts and funds. In this section, you can change your password, view login history, and active sessions, and enable two-factor authentication.

4.4.1. Changing a password
In order to change your password, click on the “Profile” button in the left menu of the trading interface and select the “Security” section. Then continue by clicking on the “Change password” button.
Enter the old password and then the new password twice to confirm the change.

4.4.2. Two-factor authentication
To enable two-factor authentication, go to the “Security” page of your Profile.

On the “Security” page, take a look at the “Two-factor authentication (2FA)” section, where you can protect your account via the Google Authenticator app.
Google Authenticator is considered to be one of the most reliable methods of protection. To activate it, click on the “Google” button. After making sure your email address is correct, click on the green button to receive an email message with a link. Click on it to see a window with links to the Google app and a QR code which you can use to generate a login code. You can also select which actions you want to be protected with 2FA.

If you wish to change the device for the 2FA, please follow this simple guide provided by Google.
To track the login history, go to the “Security” section of your Profile.
You will see your login history, including information on which browser and device were used to access the platform, login IP, country, and city. On the same page, you will see your active sessions and a button that allows you to terminate all sessions, logging you out of all accounts on other devices.

4.4.3. Login history and active sessions
To track the login history, go to the “Security” section of your Profile.
You will see your login history, including information on which browser and device were used to access the platform, login IP, country, and city. On the same page, you will see your active sessions and a button that allows you to terminate all sessions, logging you out of all accounts on other devices.

4.5. Trading history
The trading history page is instrumental in analyzing your trading activity, learning from your mistakes, and assessing your financial gains in any given period.
Here you can set different filters (by time range, by trading type, and by the possibility to cancel), find order IDs, and export the history.
You can find the trading history page in the Profile > Trading history section.

On this page you can also navigate to the history of your Demo, MT5 (Real or Demo), Social or Express trades.

Note that in the Social trading section you will be able to see the reason why any of the trades was not copied.
How to Use the Trading History
4.6. Password recovery
If you forgot your password, use the password recovery option available on the login page.
Enter your email address and solve a captcha to proceed.

You will receive a password reset link to your email address within a few moments.
Click on the reset link and then check the inbox once again. You will receive a second email with a new password.

If you want to set up a custom password, please proceed to the Profile > Security page.
Attention: If you don’t receive the password reset email, contact Support services through your trading account.
